Choice Theory/Reality Therapy/
Lead Management Certificate |
|
Choice Theory is a biological theory which explains both the psychological and physiological behavior of all people. Choice Theory explains that all behavior is internally motivated. Specifically, all of our behavior is our best attempt to satisfy one or more of five basic needs encoded into our genetic structure. It also states that the only person’s behavior we can control is our own. Reality Therapy is a method assisting people to learn self control, to make effective choices and to develop skills in dealing with the challenges of life. Lead Management is the integration of these concepts at an supervision and organizational level.
Past participants reflect a variety of occupations including administrators, business leaders, social workers, educators, nurses, probation officers, managers, counselors - anyone who supports, mentors, teaches, supervises, counsels or interacts with others in a professional capacity.
